hope this wille be better than the first game...midway wasn't necessarily bad, but the whole genre mash mix wasn't nearly as good as similar games like battlefild or hostile waters
zmed wrote: | Warner Bros. logo? Will this be made into a movie? |

Can't install the demo because it requires like 5GB on C: for its temp installation bullshit. Meh.

Played it for 10 minutes on 360. Was very annoyed that you can't change sensitivity.

use the dream fall trick to install this game
Code: | "Hello,
Apparently if you install Dreamfall, and if the drive of your default install directory (usually like c:\program files\) does not have 7 gigs free, it will not even let you get to the screen where you can choose a different drive/partition.
This is pretty annoying, and backwards, since it should let you choose a drive, before it checks to see if there is enough space.
Here is how you can change your default windows install directory to allow it to install your game.
Go to Start -> Run:
Type RegEdit
Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\Curr entVersion
On the right side is something called: ProgramFilesDir
*Write down the current path of the ProgramFilesDir, you'll need to change it back after install*
Change this value to a drive that contains 7+ gigs of space
Install Dreamfall
*Go back into the Registry, to ProgramFilesDir, and change it's value back to what it originally was.*
Don?t mess up your registry by doing anything else.
-Dan" |

I have no idea why devs feel they have to modify controls for the worst, just to be different. Specifically the aircraft controls, I have no idea why they aren't using the tried and proven controls of Blazing Angles/HAWX. Nobody is going to accuse them of stealing. As it is now, it is awful.

The first one was good, but the demo didn't show anything that would justify a whole new game. It was pretty much the same, just with a bit better graphics.

I'm getting about 400Kb/s from the uk gamershell servers, actually now i've said that, it's all over the place, 170, just jumped up to around 300. lol. Yeah they used to be really good, always maxed out the connection unless the server was being unusually hammered.

I've already got it and played through the demo (using windows 7 so i passed the genuine advantage, lol) Quite a fun game, first bit you have to control a gunship shooting planes out of the sky, kind of reminded me of that old PC game incoming. Shortly after that you take to the sky in a bomber, objectives are all lit up on the map and hud, you have to bomb an airfield or shoot out various AA guns scattered over the island. If you get shot down you instantly take control of one of your team. From the little i've played of HAWX, i'd say this is pretty much identical sort of gameplay but with old planes, graphics are pretty good as well, very smooth. Not really my sort of game though, if i'm playing a flight sim i prefer it to have some slight realism to it, this is very arcadey.
