Hey everyone,
As a video enthusiast I delayed as much as I could the transition from high-end DVD player to digital media, but PC processing power, cheap hard drives and front-end application such as XBMC convinced to move into the 21st century, so I bought myself a state of the art NAS with huge storage capacity and I must say so far so good (I'm not very good with computers  ).
A problem I'm facing now is pretty much the problem I had with physical media, I've no clue where is what, my wife likes to remember me how i bought 4 times the same movie on DVD, anyway right now I'm ripping my DVD/CD collection but NAS as 8 hard drives, i have an HTPC, PC, Laptops.... you get the idea... finding something is a mess, so I was wondering if there was a way to summarize discs or folder into a *virtual* disc or folder, it would a be folder which would be the combination of all the drives, shared drives I've defined and when I open it would show all files on the xx folders I defined into one big list, so I could take a look and know for sure if I've ripped it or not.
All my PC are windows XP
