Yeah right, but still they only make console ports, and their Fifa devs can't make shit of a product.

The PC? What's that all about huh? Is it that hip new product that's taking the world by storm? Oh you young whipper snappers and your "PCs".
I'll never give up my X-Box. I've been a user since XBOX 64!
Oh come on, it's 4:32 AM!

They're actually right in the sense that I doubt the console companies are keen on releasing their next gen consoles just yet.
Sony sure ain't ready to release the PS4, and I doubt Microsofts investors are as willing for a next gen console as well, what with the losses and all.
Maybe Nintendo will come up with a console that'll match the current gen. lol

Is this why EA decided to stop making Madden for the PC? Because the PC is becoming the largest gaming platform?

No, I think it's because Madden is American thing and PC gaming is more popular in Europe/Russia/Asia (excluding Jap) than it is in the USA.

True true...I'm personally using it for webdesign, coding and some other things besides gaming. I can't speak for other countries but having both is a little bit to expensive in "these parts"and you usually go for practicality.
As for Japan they usually have state of the art electronics and they have it before anybody else does.
The only drawback I can see to PC gaming is shitty optimization on the developer side...

They changed management a couple of years ago. They've been on their way uphill since.

They made Dead Space and Mirror's Edge, both were original yet didn't sell too well. Atleast that's what I've read. Sims 3 is coming up, though I don't like such games it seems to be improved alot over Sims 2. So EA tries, but they won't let go of their cash cows of course. I imagine that after some more tries, maye 2-3 original games, they'll realize those don't sell that well and give up. So EA will become our beloved EA again.
