i thought EA shut down the studio for making this game cause they weren't selling enough
regardless, looks like my 360 is no longer for sale if it's any good

EA shut down the team behind FN3. It was done by EA Chicago while this is being done by EA Canada. EA Canada have churned out a mix of good and bad games so anything could happen but they're an old studio so fingers crossed.
Looking good so far and the roster is pretty immense. Joystiq have a brief hands on and there are a few videos on usenet.
Apparently, there could be a demo out on thursday.

360 for sale? Not enough of your type of games?
Just curious.
We have 2 360's and I am about to buy a 3rd for the tv room.
Wouldn't ever consider selling mine, but I like the sports games and what not (football, Forza 2, etc.)

It does look excellent, and eventhough I'm not a boxing fan at all, I think I'm gonna try this out, because it just looks like a fun game to play.
But it remains to be seen of it actually is fun, or if it only looks like fun.

UK demo comes early with pre-order
I know the states have got a deal like this but hadn't seen a UK one yet. Demo comes out on the 14th (this Thursday).

Yeah those were good. I wish he had said more about the facial damage system and what not. Could have swore i read somewhere that the cuts and stuff are procedural and actually appear on the faces depending on the where the punches land. Before, they were always the same but i read that this time they are always different based on the procedural/physics based punches.

just preordered at gamestop to get the demo early...im just not sure when they will give out the codes... it says 2 weeks early... that would be pretty late when release is on 26th of june.

General release of the Demo might be scheduled for the 27th of may though . So you are getting the demo 2 weeks early

If you go by the UK one (gamestation) then the code should be emailed by Thursday (14th May). I'd assume EA would release the demo to pre-orders globally on the same day.

HOW TO INSTALL - DVD:
Extract the files normally and use ImgBurn or Nero to create a "data dvd".
Simply burn the folder called "content" on to a blank dvd and place it in your Xbox 360 once completed.
The demo should now appear in the Games Library of your Dashboard.
NOTE:
It's very important to place the "content" folder in the root directory of the disc.
HOW TO INSTALL - HDD:
Plug your Xbox 360 HDD in to your PC.
Use Xplorer360 to explore your HDD Contents.
Drive > Open > Harddrive or Memcard..
Explore Partition 3. Open Content folder.
Upload the file "4E56BC35AA6283A5336E95373244F25C21DE28D345" in the following directory. "content\0000000000000000\45418895\00080000"
Plug your HDD back in to your console and check the Games Library of your Dashboard.

Anyone tried it yet? Stuck in work, cant wait to try this out. Played FN3 to death across 2 consoles.
