I've had no problems with my computer until lately. I installed GTA4 and realized that the graphics looked totally fucked up! So I decided to look if there was a new driver for my GeForce7600go.
I had the 179.82 laptop drivers from nvidia but after checking the control panel it seemed as if some of the driver files weren't installed correctly and showed someting like 156... so I downloaded the newest driver from laptopvideo2go and the game worked well now. But a little bit too slow, so that I downloaded riva tuner to overclock my graphicscard a little bit.
While the installation Rivatuner prompted me to install a cpu protection or something like this.. I just clicked yes and since then my graphics (2D Desktop) flicker from time to time:( Furthermore KMPlayer said, that some application was blocking the overlay so that I had to choose another rendering mode.
Is it possible that riva tuner fucked something up? Any experience?
