So I really wanna try out LittleBigPlanet this weekend after watching some build-tutorials on YouTube. Now, I don't own a PS3 personally, still thinking of buying one. But, i know friends that has one and that i could possibly borrow one from, and i was wondering if:
- Is LBP available to buy through the Store?
- If I use my own creared PSN account, are the items i buy stored so that if i buy my own PS3 later, it knows i bought it and therefore can redownload it for free? (Like on Live)
Can this work or not? 
EDIT: Nevermind, i just bought a new one with LBP, now i just gotta unpack it and try it for myself

iirc, you can't buy LBP through the store, but by now it's far cheaper if you get it used on blu ray anyway
and yes, all your stuff is linked to your psn account. just create a profile on the ps3, log in with your old username/pw, done. it's even easier than on the x360, as you don't have to transfer gamertags first (and you can also share psn store stuff that way). only limit: you can only download something 5 times max.

First of all, Buy Uncharted: Drakes fortune (platinum) and play it, 2nd no you have to buy LBP at a (web)shop they are here already for sale for less than 30 euro.
Edit: Oh you already got LBP then just buy Drakes fortune

Heh, I'm guessing it's one area Sony thought they could get away with cost cutting - and you'd probably be surprised how many 'next-gen' users play in standard definition and don't realise the difference. As for the controller cable; it's short but you can easily swap it for a longer one. Though I'm not entirely sure why you'd want to have your controller plugged in whilst playing.
Anyway, enjoy your new purchase.... and I second the Uncharted recommendation.

I bought the PS3 as well just for Littlebigplanet at the time, then i played drakes fortune and blew me away i had more fun with it then LBP, but LBP is one of a kind so you cant really compare. Anways enjoy LBP its a fun game and gave me lots of laughs while playing it online.

Definitely get Uncharted...awesome game. And with the second coming out sometime before next year, should be awesome as well. Everything Tomb Raider should be, and isn't and more.

I doubt that's the only reason he's considering one. I just got a ps3 recently and am enjoying several of the exclusives. The free online is definitely nice also.

yeah, because im banned and lazy and the 360 doesn't have killzone 2. But for all offline gaming, there is 360 ^^

LOL, buying a console for just one or two games, that sounds silly to me. Maybe it's because I don't have money to throw! 
BTW, will be upgrading to Core i7 soon (probably so I can run one game better)

To be honest i was afraid of the same thing. But now when i got it i don't regret it.

Change hard drive
Exclusives games which in my opinion are worth buying :
Killzone 2
Metal gear solid 4
Uncharted
Resistance 2
Wipeout
Valkyria
Socom 3
Flower
- the down side
No backups
controller isen't as solid as the xbox one
Psn shop is nothing compared to xbl

Yes you do, you get the standard component cable. It's not HDMI but it's still HD.

not with arcade you don't, " COMPOSITE SCART TV AV CABLE" is all you get which isn't HD ,lol - Standard compnent come with Pro or Elite which is HD - and you don't get a HDD either, just the built in mem or mem card depending on the age

The arcarde is less then half the price (179,95)and a Xbox 360 Premium (with the hardisk and a wireless controller) and 2 games! is 239,95 euro.
