looking at getting the razer mamba... i think its about time i upgraded from my awesome logitech mx1000.. its served me well, but its got leprosy.. its feet are falling off, and i just think its time for an upgrade.

http://www.razerzone.com/gaming-mice/razer-mamba/

yeah it costs a lot, but this things gonna last me the next 3+ years minimum - anyone heard anything bad about it? think its a good mouse to get? obviously using it primarily for gaming, but also browsing and other stuff as well, but yeah, mainly gaming.

mouse is a mouse the all do simple pointer moving, I have a G7 but sometimes I have to wonder if a box standard £1 poundland saver one would be just as useful lol.

Anyhow there is the latest one im using and its prefectly good if you feed it.

The only mouse you'll ever need, probably one of the best mouses optimized for gaming and still with a great looking professional look.

Yeah, it's a cool mouse (and comfortable), but the DPI is very low for high resolution monitors. Sad

mamba is for hardcore gamers only. mx1000 is 10x more comfortable in hand while browsing the webs and playing normal sp games without searching for every possible headshot.

also gotta admit it looks like torn off vagina

logitech g5, still the best/most ergonomic design imo. plus the cable isn't made of rubber, so it doesn't get in the way so much.

@ronhrin: is the input lag noticeable whe using the revolution mx? i'm looking for a new workstation mouse and the revolution felt quite nice, but i didn't have a chance yet to try it out on a pc.

Just got the Mamba, it rocks!

One complaint if you are used to the logitech wheel however, like the mx1100, there is no competition razer just can't get that stupid wheel right compared to logitech. Of course I expect an A grade wheel for this amount of cash.

You gave ~150€ for a mouse? It's nice and all, but I would never give that kind of money for a mouse...

and for that amount of cash, if you lived in the US, you'd get top notch fucking support, they're on PAR with Kingston Technology's

I had a diamond back die after my 3 month warrnty was up, told me to send it back and they'd replace it.

That one died, I Was PISSED cause it died the same way as the last one, got a hold of them, they told me to just keep the mouse and they'd ship me out another one, and till this day it still works (3 years ago)

But I have a deathadder now, feels so much better.

Sure, I'll post some later.

I had the Deathadder as well but the mouse wheel started to go south rather quickly, you would barely touch it and the webpage started flying up and down, maybe it got better in later revisions but the fuckers at razer should really pick up a logitech mouse and just copy the damn wheel.
