Streets of Moscow / 1C Company

RELEASE DATE : 26-05-2009 PROTECTION : Skidmarks
GAME TYPE : Racer DISKS : 1 DVD

Release Notes:

The Skid Rowdies are looking new blood to fill up the ranks.
We're a professional team of dedicated sceners with big mark
under sceners. We believe on the ground idealism of the root
of the real old school scene. We do all this for fun and
nothing else. We don't earn anything on our hobby as we do
this for the competition and the heart of what got the scene
started in the mid eighties.

If you think you got something to offer, then don't hold back
on contacting us as soon as possible.

As a little appreciation we have included something new in the
SKID ROW directory on the DVD. It's something that scene
groups used to use to show off, but it later became a
trademark for the groups presentations. We hope more teams
will start to include these things again.

They should rename it to destruction derby in the streets of moscow.
Controls are awful, the feel of speed is non existant, gfx are bad and the tuning is a bit of an odd ball...a gatling gun?

Some of the music is ok though, but you can listen to them without the game,so... Very Happy

It's OK for a arcade racer, some interesting visuals as well but not really on the same level as Dirt/Grid or even racing games like NfS or Burnout.
(Not that they look bad or anything though.)

Very arcade like as mentioned plus you can buy "adrenaline" power ups (T-Search utility works well for money as a float value search by the way.) and there's a lot of customization options for the car albeit the menu interface might be a bit clunky and you don't always know what a item does.
(A lot of it is decor though like antennaes and paint jobs but it looks pretty cool once you get familiar with the system.)

Story is pretty odd as well and explained via a long intro cinematic but it's mainly about racing and getting experience by winning and performing stuff like stunts to earn money and experience.
(Better cars and kits require money to purchase plus a minimum level to use.)

Not much else I can say about it, hehe. Smile
