I just finished this level and I must say its rather short for 800 points , it was good tho but had exspected more imo.
Its worth 400 points but defo not 800 but thats my opinion.
Anyone got a other view on this ?
If this should have been posted in the other threat then pls forgive me .

Bought it but didn't try it yet, hopefully i'm not disappointed but the screenshots/gameplay details about the 2nd DLC (Lara's Shadow) look great and a lot better...

Sorry for bumping this topic but i'm sure people would be interested about this one and how I felt about this... So I eventually finished it, now i'm gonna try Lara's Shadow : I think ShadowX is right, it's too short, but it was really good (and better than most TRU levels... I think Thailand was the best and this one is as good... Actually this one looks a lot like Tomb Raider Anniversary levels, it's more like TR1).
Maybe it is worth 600 points, not 800, but I definitly had a lot of fun playing this.... So it's up to you : if you can use 800 Points, you won't be disappointed...
Quick review : so i said it was like TRA, which means more ambience sound and less musics, lots of puzzles, specially using the grappling hook which was really cool and not used that much in vanilla TRU, traps, cool atmosphere (à la TR1), ... Graphics are kinda the same, level design is better, gameplay is the same...
The story, without spoiling anything ties with TRU so it's cool... You don't need to play it to fully complete the history, but it's cool it ties somehow with TRU.
IF it was free i'd rate it 8/10 but since it isn't I guess i'd rate it 7/10. Lasting appeal wasn't huge, I think it took me ~2h to finish it, and I was stuck some times, and I consider myself as a hardcore adventure games/tomb raider games player.

Played out lara shadow , was longer then beneath the ashes.
I enjoyed it, gave me a new feeling of Lara but u can compare it the most with prince of persia .
Like Lara herself better but it was a new and worthy expiriance

Bumping an old topic but noticed something interesting changing my XBOX for a new one : I still could play Lara's Shadow (not Beneath the Ashses) without login to XBL or transfering the DRM to my new XBOX, which means it seems to me that this DLC hasnt any DRM and MS forgot to put it, which would mean it could work if smbdy copy it to another HDD... Now I cannot rip it since I dont have a connective kit, but I thought it was worth telling you guys, maybe if someone wanna try Lara's Shadows without buying it (at least I think so).
