I'm at work, and so is everyone else Wink

Only thing different this week is that i only work till 1 PM on friday, thats because it's the swedish national day ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/National_holiday_of_Sweden ) on Saturday Smile

yeah but taking into accoutn things cost there about 10x more than elsewhere id say you aint got that much better life quality. compared to swedish for example.

10x more? FUD much? Prices are, at most, 20-25% higher than in the UK - with our wages being MORE than proportionately higher too (average weekly wage in the UK; £200ish, in Norway; closer to £400)

I wasn't saying we have a better quality of life than Sweden, I was just talking about how we get good wages for less work Razz

If you simplify it, it's basically that you earn a little more when you live in Norway, but prices on most things are generally a little higher aswell, so Sweden and Norway are pretty equal in that sense. But Norwegians do have more time off work than we do Smile Also, it's very popular among Swedes to live in Sweden and work in Norway, that way you have a Norwegian wage and Swedish living costs Very Happy

Last I checked a Snickers costs around 60p in England and the comparative choc would be around 12-14kr (roughly £1.20-1.40) Some things are more expensive, some - like food and other essentials - are roughly the same price. It differs.

Im working today - bastards. Meant to get to 24/25c here in London - damn it!

Finished building a brick BBQ in my garden last night, need to leave 2 days for the cement to dry (todays sun should do it) - so I'll be eating a BBQ tomorrow evening (same temps predicted).

Luckily I only work from office 2 days a week - the 1/1.5 hour commute into the city each way is so bloody tiring. Shame it's mon / tues I go in - the weather is going to get shitty again at the end of the week.

Oh, and also, having recently been to France and Switz, I would say that things are WAAAYYY more expensive over in the EU - however you guys get paid alot more too. It was bloody £6 a beer in the alps. Here in the UK its more like £3.50. Fuck that, Europe is too expensive now - if it weren't for the Alps I'd probably not come back for a while.

Back to Vegas for the 3rd time this year caaching. Lets hope it goes up to 1£=1$ by the end of summer Very Happy
