Any excuse to play more UT2004 style assault game modes is alright in my book! I love co-op hold the line game types, probably what I'm looking forward to most out of this game.
Obviously will give the SP story a spin also, since I enjoy the Halo story.
I read the book 'Halo: Fall of Reach' and have been looking forward to a halo prequel, due to the fact that there were still many spartans alive at that time (and almost all of them died when the covenant glassed the planet).
will be interesting to see what scenarios they come up with there.

yeah sounds about right spiderman.. and yeah while halo itself is obviously stolen from there, the games have been more and more simply about the master chief and the war with the covenant and flood. I don't think they had that shit in RingWorld

Yeah I know. Thats why I got a 32" And watching normal TV broadcasting looks like shit on larger TVs.
its always suprised me how such a mediocre franchise is so huge. I got bored of Halo and Halo2, i did manage to finish halo 3 it got somewhat decent after the flood showed up, but ive never understood the huge following this game has, the online is pretty pitiful compared to alot of AAA online titles. Of course this is just my opninion and not a slight against people on here who do love the game. I Just dont get it

Me neither. My first (and last) encouter with Halo was with the PC version. My god, that was a piece of crap, when it turned up on PC there was so many more much better shooters.
Thats always been my opinion as well. I just don't "get" the series. Mediocre graphics, predicatable level design and rather average AI. Halo 3 brought the likes of the forge to consoles which was a step forward but I feel thats about it.
I can see how Halo 1 took off. It was the best FPS on a console at the time but imo, it was just the best out of a truely bad bunch. If you look at PC gaming at the time there were some significantly better games being AvP2, Operation Flashpoint and Return to Castle Wolfenstein.

You just put the ODST game disc in and it should be on the main menu of the game once it is active. Doesn't seem to be right now, I just have a link to the video they released about the beta.

It's there. I just downloaded it and played some of the beta. I feel as though I'm back in 2001 after playing it. The gameplay and graphics are so dated it's unbelievable.
I just hope that I don't get banned now. I got banned 1 day after playing the Halo 3 beta after playing it through crackdown. Lets hope the same doesn't happen this time.
