You'd better brush up on your scripture and convert to their cult if you want to get anywhere with her.

my friend was a jehova when he was a teenager. well he didnt like it, but cant argue with parents.
now hes cool though.
they are fucking disturberers. and many of them are ashamed of themselves i suppose (kids i guess), cause sometimes they go around at dark with their hoods on their head and giving some jehova labels which ask to join them. then that dude runs away like an idiot. usually i laugh then and scream something like "do you have any respect at all for yourself?"
also they arent allowed to get/give presents at christmas + they cant be blood donors (and they cant heal themselves when they have some weird sickness. cause its against their "belief) + no sex.

I was raised as one, my parents are, as well as some other family members, PM me if you have any questions
People unfortunately have a bad opinion in them due to the door knocking they do, but in reality, if there was ever a dominant religion, I wouldn't mind it being jehova's just for the fact they aren't fanatics and keep their religion to themselves other than the door knocking. You don't see them acting out with god this god that, they don't make you donate money to the "church", don't have fucking crosses all over the house etc, I've never met a jehova I didn't like, their not cocky or anything.

ya, I personally never believed in giving my shit away like organs and shit just cause I don't like the thought of me being chopped up and handed away, and im an atheist, but, I saw my mom just filled out such forms and it actually pissed me off, the thought of losing my mom because of her own wishes, but whatever.
The thought process on this I believe is "god" made each person individually so their parts are theres and weren't meant to be shared, but to me that kind of contradicts itself because said "god" would want to preserve his creations.

nope, the complications of such would be such a fucking hassle. I dated a girl who's dad had a transplant and the amount of money and suffering the guy is going through now because of a fuckup in the blood they didn't catch is fucking insane.
If I die then I die, it sucks but oh well

Well, i have a strange yet very true story.
I lost my virginity to a JW. I shit you not. At the time i didn't know she was (Well technically at the time she wasn't practicing) , we dated for about 2 years.
In the last 6 months of our relationship she told me that she wanted to go back to the church. We couldn't have sex anymore (Well she would still want me to go down on her, guess that's allowed) and if i wanted to stay with her, i would have to convert.
Well i went to one JW function, this huge one that they only do every so many years.
Most of there values are good, but others are completely fucked up, and they are very very elitist.
Needless to say i realized that thay are nothing but a CULT!!!! And our relationship ended quite poorly. The pussy was good though.
But i would stay far far away. They are fucking mental.

Why go far, a heart, how about a kidney transplant, a lung transplant?
Always find all the "I don't want to donor my organs but I don't care getting some if I need them" hypocritical attitude ridiculous (not talking about SkypeZ here).

Because its one of god tests. Everything in this world is just a test, nothing matters other than being true to your god, Jehovah. Blood is not to be tampered with in the eyes on a JW, and if they do, they will not go to paradise after this world. In the JW belief system they are not dying, they are leaving this testing ground (World) for the true paradise (Heaven).
That is why they don't celebrate any holidays or B-days, because nothing in this world matters, its only a test to see if your worthy.
We have a fellow that does our engineering reports for the bank, and he was raised a JW, but has realized its not for him. Him entire family has disowned him and they have not spoken since he decided to leave the church.
Its a fucking sick religion, well its not a religion, its a cult.

My father and his "new" family are JWs and I'm sorry - but I've lived with him and I know exactly how much they try to force their religion on you. I've lost count of the amount of sermons I had to endure from him, his wife and his Rod & Tod family -- not to mention the amount of times that, despite my protests and refusals, I've been dragged to the Kingdom Hall and forced to pray with them, to give thanks to their God and to suffer their constant disapproving scowls and preaches about how I don't believe in ANY god, let alone theirs.
They're all sweetness and light when you buy into their bullshit - but as soon as you buck the trend and refuse to be bullied into their doctrines ... they're vicious, petty, spiteful and aggressive.
The shit STARTS at knocking on doors, preaching the will of the one true God, but that's only where it starts. Oh and they're also a bunch of hypocritical bastards too. Anyone who says they're not a cult, and a passive-aggressive one at that, *is* a JW. No contest.

Religion can be so screwed up. Too many variables
The idea behind religion is good for the most part. I think but people put their own experiences first and I find them not thinking for themselves, they are listening some leader or zealot who's word isn't God. Also people interpret the teaching through their own negative experiences and often make the wrong decisions.
I used to work with a JW guy long ago when I was 16. He was 17 and left his home to work in a restaurant at a resort. (not typical JW behavior) He was pretty cool, nice guy, always happy and a good friend but he wouldn't live in staff housing because it was co-ed. I questioned him on that because it was the cheapest thing for him to do at that time. He just said "no, I can't do that" He never put down anybody tho. Even the people he worked with and the rest of the staff were a bunch of partiers.
Said Partiers ----> They would snowboard in the daytime, work at night, party at the bar after, get laid if they got lucky, go home in the morning with the same clothes they were wearing the night before. Have 4 hrs of sleep maybe if that and go repeat the same whole thing all over again the next day. They were kinda stinky. It was insane.
@Saint
You can’t judge a book on the cover, so I don’t think you should judge her. If you like her, get to know her. What do you have to lose? If anything you both will be friends. Nothing wrong with seeing how different people live.
