i like this movie , good direction and script , brilliant acting
Nesbitt was also great in Bloody Sunday , too bad he aint in more mainstream movie cause i could see him getting an oscar.
Hey, this doesn't look like a sequel to Taken, damnit Neeson!
woaah , that movie was truly overrated imo , way to formulaic and most of the stuff featured there was done better in other movies (*cough* Bourne series *cough*) .
anyway , back to this movie , too bad that THIS movies is Hirschbiegel's first true english picture , The Invasion was just confused and shatterd from it's initial vision , too bad that there isnt a director's cut to it .
Whats this movie about? Some care to give me a mini description (no spoilers please incase it sounds interesting and I decide to watch it)?
Would be much appreciated.
Can't trust those cunts at IMDB.com....they all think they are critics.....I hate IMDB.com when it comes to trying to find out about a movie.
Plus there are those people who post negative comments about a movie just cause they are twats and most likely pimply faced teens who have nothing better to do than try to sound clever...and fail to top it off lol
And talking about Neeson: the guy has loads of projects listed at IMDB, guess he's too bad ass to take a break and mourn for his wife.
That's not fair, some ppl turn to their work to keep themselves sane/healthy/happy in dire times.
Very true
And alot of men work no matter what. My dad's buddy was like that. Lost his wife last year. Took 3 days off for funeral arrangements and the funeral and then threw himself into his work like a madman.
My dad, his boss and another of my dad's friends had to go and tell the guy to chill and take least a month to grieve...cause he wasn't.
Doesn't matter what he does (not in the trades) but he'd work 15 hours and then drink a bottle of scotch, pass out, wake up and go back to work.
He ended up taken 3 months off after 2 weeks off cause the man was crushed. Was married like 25 years. Me and my dad and another guy spend a lot of time with him and talked to him on the phone like 4 or 5 times a day.
He's ok now but still....I can't imagine losing a wife of 25 (or more) years. I'd be a basket case....

Yeah I know, and you have to respect that. I just hope he's not avoiding dealing with it by burying himself in work - he's a great actor and would hate to see him burn down. Some people can manage it like syco said, but it's not for everyone.
