Considering EA's PS3 games, it's very easy to see what he means; PS3 games (by EA) still have long way to go until they reach the quality of the 360 games (by EA).

I didn't mention other publishers and developers, as my intention wasn't to start a flame war. It is a known fact EA's 360 ports for the PS3 are less then optimal at best.

what
everybody knows that, comparing those to PC
xbox 360 its like a fine tuned low end 3 core AMD with a high end integrated mobile lappy ATI gfx and shared 512 ram = plays well, has nice textures but sucks at large maps
ps3 its like high end 8 core Intel (well its only 6 cores the others are locked) with low end bottlenecking Gf 7900 with its own 256ram "which can output resolutions from 480i/576i SD that are later upscaled to 720p/1080p" and separated ram 256 for other processes = plays well, had shitty textures (low ram) but it owns xbox360 by having big maps
xbox360 = having better textures and high resolutions in games but at the costs of lag (example : 1-2 sec before you see the physics effects your game fezzes for this 1 sec... seen on loot of games [new starwars, Ninja Blade, gears etc.. ]) and sometimes missing effects
ps3 = you have 480i/576i SD thats upscaled to 720p/1080p , and low resolution textures that look horrible BUT you have all the bell and whistles with no lag (physics effects are instant no waiting time)
But yeah this is EA and they didn't talked ABOUT THE HARDWARE no dofus they have talked about the market share ... So by "I think that we've maxed out the 360 but we haven't maxed out the PS3" they meant 360 has shitload of games when PS3 has none...
they are so many genres on XBox360 you can pick and choose what game you like, on PS3 you play all you can find... make enough hype about something and PS3 whores will buy anything = PROFIT$$$$

Ok 1 guys says the xbox is on its max and a other guy says its not , personaly I dont give a crap i love my box but i also love my ps3 both have dif games i want .

maxed out or not, the 360 will sell more atm due to its price and the fact that games are virtually identical to their PS3 counterparts. In many cases we're seeing the xbox still looking or running better.
Sony will be its own downfall at this rate. They need to take advantage of the market and get PS3's out on the streets. They're constantly being outsold by the wii and 360 and ultimately it probably comes down to price.
The PS3 as a media center is no longer applicable. You can buy a better BR player and an xbox for the price of a 80Gig PS3.
Now with the whole activision thing (remember they own infinity ward, demonware, neversoft, red octane, etc etc) its trouble for Sony. The last thing they need is less games on their system, exclusive or not.

well, at least they are trying to bring in new features with the natal peripheral. with a big emphasis on trying - i'd be surprised if it turns out to be anything more than a shitty little gimmick for some kiddie stuff or the oxymoron called fitness games.

Why all the ps3 hate?
Its a fucking powerful system, it can handle graphics better than the 360. Its more expensive because it has a blu ray player built in. The good games are coming, just wait for next year.

Technically the Xbox GPU is slightly better while the PS3 CPU is better. As for the Xbox being maxed out, it's been released in 2005, so it's completely logical. Sure the PS3 has room for improvement, but that's to catch up with the Xbox. Maybe it's because the Playstation has always been hard to code for, but some PS3 games run worse or look worse than the Xbox counterpart.
