Top Spin was good, but too difficult in a game breaking fashion. Too many dropped shots because you didn't press the button at the right time. A more fluid and responsive feel a la Virtua Tennis and it would have been much better.
Thx for the screens, streetunder; Can´t see noticeable differences with previous one, just hope this time you can send some shots out or leave them in the net. I know this will always be an arcade game, but c´mon, we need some unforced errors...as a feature, please.
Major problem with Virtua Tennis series always was the AI and the scripted shots from both cpu and human players that led to the same winning points over and over.Game also turned into a dive fest between good players.Surely it's an arcade-style game but a tennis game needs to be intense, strategic and have big runs from time time.
Even on the above screenshots the cpu stands again on the right or left side waiting like an idiot tha ball and leaving a hell of space for human. That's ridiculous.Graphics are mediocre. No 3D grass again, they should have implement what they've done on their Sega Rally Evo.
Crowd is a mix of 2D-3D in the screenshots.Nba2k9 has 3D crowd.
