Aye I just got Rise of Flight today, it's like being a teenager again and playing Knights of The Sky, I really like it. I can recommend IL-2 Sturmovik:1946 as well. If you're into Helicopter combat, Enemy Engaged: Commanche vs Hokum is really great, use this guide for modding it, and it'll become an utterly fantastic game. It doesn't really matter that it's older than 9 years If you can only play stuff thats new, then you shouldn't be playing combat sims at all. Silent hunter 3 with GWX is still the best u-boat simulator for instance. Of course many of these combat sims greatly benefit from having the right equipment, like a good saitek joystick, pads and a Track-Ir. If you 'need' SM 3.0 to be able to enjoy yourself, then you will have much more fun looking at the graphics demos provided by Nvidia and Ati. Educate yourself Give an internet to NFOHump!

yeah well i was saying 3 years because he also would like some nice eye-candy. thx. will look into these games. edit: also, can you recommend me some combat games that feature modern fighters? tom clancy hawx looks hawt but is pure arcade i presume? hows fsx acceleration? it features only 1 modern plane, though: fa18a hornet yes

what about enemy engaged 2? from what i understood, it was EE1+mods+enginecode improvements with some mods, shouldn't it be better than EE1+mods?
