I'd say go see Surrogate. Can't remember when it comes out but it looks rather interesting. Its either gunna be excellent or retarded.
But Bruce Willis is the lead.
I plan on seeing it. I just hope its not one of those movies that could be good but ends up being shit because dialogue or something similar.

I haven't seen many 2009 films, but so far Star Trek has been the best by a mile. Never seen an episode of the series so I'm far from a fan. Had my reservations going into it that I wouldn't like it, but I thought it was terrific.
Really want to see Anti Christ and Drag Me To Hell, both are made by two very good directors and should be canny.

Star Trek isn't the best so far (and I love Star Trek). The new movie just plain sucks. Visually nice, but everything else is retarded (and why did they make Spock look queer?).
I'd T4 is the best big budget movie thus far. Transformers 2, I have high hopes for.
And Halloween 2 (out in end of August I think) is going to be excellent.

My advice is go and see them yourself (original poster). Because, I liked Star Trek. I thought T4 was decently good but I enjoyed Star Trek more.
Lots of people have liked both. They are both worth seeing.
Drag Me To Hell is a must see if you liked Evil Dead or Army of Darkness.
The Hangover is funny as hell.

is there a problem with somebody looking queer? homophobia? anyway everybody in the original looked "queer" too in their tight outfits and shit.
Besides Spock and Kirk's relationship always had homoerotic undertones:
"Techniclly speaking, Beta-Manboi didnt inject Burberry_Massi with Benz, he injected him with liquid that had air bubbles in it, which caused benz." - House M.D
"Faith without logic is the same as knowledge without understanding; meaningless"
Well i loved Startrek. So its my number 1 recommendation. They did a great job at reinventing the series IMO. Loved it from start to finish.
#2 would be wolverine - I thought is was killer, but i also wasn't a comic guy, so im not all picky about it being true to the story. (IF it was or wasn't, don't know, don't care)
I would skip Terminator 4 in the theaters, its just alright, way better that T3 (Which isn't hard) but it could have been so much better.
