I'm looking for the insanely best possible graphics and textures for Crysis and Crysis Warhead, I've tried Life Sis mod with Crysis, and it didn't looked much better than the original, is there anything much better, or will I have to wait for Crysis 2?

Crysis 2 is going to be multiplatform, so not sure if that is the solution either.

hmm, so, is there a solution, I've seen some amazing Crysis Screenshots here and there, but none of them make reference to the mod/mods they were using, what I'm going to say may be blasphemy for some, but imo, Call of Duty is by far more visually superior than any Crysis mod I was able to get up and running, I honestly cannot understand why Crysis is praised as the game with best graphics ever.

Look for "Crysis ultra high config" or something like that. These configs allow some crazy detail.
C2D E6750 @ 3.2Ghz, 4GB 800MHz DDR2 4-4-4-12, GeForce GTX 260 c216 OC 896MB, 3.2TB, Windows 7 Ultimate x64

You speak for the eyes of the world do you?
Technically its the most powerful engine delivering the most DETAILED graphics - if the art direction is lacking, the visuals won't be as nice.
COD4 had a distinct feel, Cysis felt... plastic, to me. |

well, i don't think arma2 falls too far from crysis
crysis has thicker bushes and light rays and such unnecessary but pretty eyecandy, but they don't really factor into it to make a fair comparison
just finished crysis on delta difficulty yesterday actually
had forgot how much fun the gameplay was
unfortunately it's wishful thinking that they would ditch the damn aliens and just give us a proper full game with the koreans
