and the fact that this game is HARD AS FUCK!
I haven't played the first one, but DAYEM! I hit about 1/50 pitches, which obviously went straight to the fielder. Very frustrating.

Try holding RB when you swing. I was having the same problem when I first started playing, but when I hold that while swinging, I hit a hell of a lot of pitches. Sure, some of them still go to the fielders, but more often than not I get a single out of it (or more).

Then try lowering the difficulty to easy?
