Only on console now I belive. PC is supposed to come out later. Game is pretty good, I got it for Xbox today.

OMFG, NFSU 2, Flat Out, Vampire, HL2, and now this. Greatest period for a PC gamer I can remember in the history of PC gaming!
How's the game btw? Screens and vids of this game didn't impress me much

with this release, unpack with winrar and check keep broken files.
it gives an crc error at the end...doesn't matter!
burn the iso and just play..works great

I have played 4 missions, and 2 Lone Wolf.
And I must say this is one of the better games on the Xbox.
I like what they done with the graphic and that 3rd person mode like Splinter Cell works really well. When U zoom its of course 1st person.
But you can choose if you want 1st person all the time.
Action is not like Call of Duty, a little slower.

Got a problem...
Extracted the original release (not the repack) with "keep broken files" selected and tried FTPing to the HDD with both xfer202 and Qwix....both programs freeze at the same spot. (around 28% on a file called s07_grass_03_density.tga) Anyone else get this working from the harddrive?

Mine does not work
I did excactly what you said but i get an error:
Xbox encountered an error, plz reset xbox (or something like that)
right after the startupscreen of Ghostrecon 2
I tried uploading it to my hd and burning it on to dvd.
both give the same error

the repack works fine though, and its the first usa/ntsc game that doesnt give me a black/white screen (through vcr and a very old tv, i just delete the games instead of trying to find a solution at the moment).
ai pisses me off though, enemies either stand around when i fire on them, or they know where i am even though i'm hiding and using a silenced gun (as in the first game). and the friendly ai insists on not bothering to follow my "Hold position" command, to walk around infront of cover instead of behind it and also seems to have a thing for walking infront of me when i pull the trigger.
seems the challenge of this game is not the enemy or the missions but rather the controls and the teammates 
i hope the pc-version comes soon, i loved the first game (even with all the limitations), especially with the "New Cold-War" mod, that enhanced all the original missions. you'd get access to *all* guns (yeah, because if there was to be a war i'm sure the supplyguys would say "no, get that old crappy gun instead, you cant have this because you're not a specialist"), start at different locations than the original missions, the enemys started on new locations too and there were more of them and it just felt more "real".
/me goes off to watch Stalker on tv

i finished GR1 and the two expansions on PC, but i have to say this is not any good on a console.. god damnit impossible to aim with the stick, and it doesn't make it easier with a game you have to aim and shoot fast or ur dead.. i played the first mission and died 5 times in a row on the first MG enplacement, i just threw the gamepad and shut off the xbox, went for a smoke and never came back... fuck it's frustrating!
