So, since this is out (at least in Japan) anybody played it? I'm grabbing it right now but I fear I won't be able to play it to it's full potential since I've only got a crappy GameCube controller and the general opinion seems to be that the classic controller is suited best for it.

yeah its a quality fighter. Maybe not so big in the west due to the unfamiliar character cast (some may not be old enough to remember Gatchaman). Nevertheless its a good 2d fighter. well worth getting if you like these sort of games.
