So I'm thinking of selling my Audi A3. Been looking at the following models between 2007-2008:
VW Golf 1.4TSI 140bhp
Kia ceed 1.6 (Boring but nice price)
Honda Civic 1.8
Civic Type-R (Expensive my what a car) 2.0 200bhp
Toyota Auris
My two favorites are the Golf which is abit more expensive than the ceed but offers alot more.
The two Hondas are abit of outsiders, I dont like the look of the civic but the type-r is very sexy.
I'm looking for something thats not too pricy but offers alittle extra something.

The problem with my A3 is its starting to behave kinda strange, the engine fan needs replacing shortly and alot of water is gathering in the exhaust pipes or what you call them. Also the indicator lights are starting to flare up like a christmas tree, getting turned on and off randomly.
So I'm getting rid of it before it starts to really need fixing.
So far the Golf is what I'm most interested in, Civic type-rs are expensive in the long run even though the insurance was surprisingly affordable.
Like I said the Civics are butt-ugly but ok cars.
Gonna test drive a few this weekend, golf and the ceed primarily.

The new Kia Forte Coupe, and the 2.0T Genesis Coupe should be on that list as well. Unless of course your buying used.

Golfs are pretty plain looking unless you get the GTI ... which given those other cars seems to be a bit out of the intended price range. They don't even sell type-r civics anymore in n.american .. I think the last one was a hatchback in 2006 (was called SiR here).
asus z170-A || core i5-6600K || geforce gtx 970 4gb || 16gb ddr4 ram || win10 || 1080p led samsung 27"

the JDM has 220 BHP, and is a LOT harder to ride. The suspension is much tighter and has been modified like crazy, and aswel its a little bit lighter - the torques is higher etc. Steering is hydraulic which is different to the UK version which is electronic, which also adds a bit more kick.

R8 sucks for the money. It's a 30 grand car and only has 220HP. Sure, it is roomy and handles pretty good - But for 30 grand I want way more then 220HP.

so what's the price range ?
don't know about the Ceed tho , it's the most cheap from that list but it's okay i guess , but the 2 door version looks shitty
and i like the Corolla better than the Auris.
from my cpt genius pov i'm guessing u want a hothatch.

Was confusing it with RX-8. Forgot that there are retards on this site that degrade threads with un-realistic car choices.

Price range is around 130-150.000 swedish kronor which is about €13-15000.
Only interested in the ceed, civic, golf sized cars as I said I dont have kiddies and dont really like bigger cars.
Been looking at mitubishi, Subaru but all of them fall short when compared with the golf. And I'd only sell my A3 if I know I'll get something better for the cash so the ceed is not that interesting.
Saw a golf gti today and man thats one sexy car. Wasnt really after sport models but if I can find a gti from like 2005, 2006 for ok cash I'd get one.

Very nice, looks cool. The only problem is the kia forte koup is only available in the US. But I must say I really dig the design. Hopefully alot of people will ask about the car for kia to release it in europe but how long would that take...
Damn shame
