You do realize the entire thing is done using stop-motion photography and hand building every frame out of legos, correct? It isn't a render, it was all hand made.
that was pretty cool, but surely some of it wasn't done in lego - like the bits where he is inserting a game into a NES, and all of the "people" bits. Looks like it'd been filmed and then overlayed with a filter?

If you pause the video at the "people" bits, you can actually see the shadows between the blocks of Lego put to build the frame.

it is a waste of time. there's a shit load of awesome lego videos... a shit load of amazing stop motion lego videos. about gaming and shit. this one... honestly... i don't like that much. only thing that i do like about it is the depth and the 360 shit haven't seen that in a lego vid. but everything else... meh. it's not even epic. I stopped watching half way through.

lol no
the live stuff isn't made out of lego if it is then it's impressive
but it doesn't look like it is. a filter here and there
my two cents, if it actually helps these guys land some kind of employment then it isn't a waste of time. otherwise, these motherfuckers need real jobs ASAP.
perhaps they're playing music in someplaces or already have some jobs? or they have enough money not to need any? or don't care about that so much? does it matter, really?
Considering that these guys will probably be hired on and paid a shitload of money to make videos like this for some company's commercial or a music video - I'd say it's 1500 hours well spent. And as other people have said, there are a lot worse things you could do with those 1500 hours. Like smoke dope, watch TV, or play stupid games - Just to name a few. They've constructed a video thats just pure awesome.
Anyone doubting that this video isn't 100% hand-made needs to note the screenshot above. The amount of lighting changes between each frame show this.
