I used to use autostitch to to stick pics one another to create landscapes and such, but it fails when it finds few things similar on the two pictures, it does not even try to blend them, it just comes out without sticking the pics.
I guess this is because it's free and there are very few options and choices to customize the process of blending the pics. do you know any other good tool? it's ok even if its not free, yet easy to use? maybe something more interactable

you also have a rock on the left image lol but i guess u want that blended into the other one  .... They are not even great shots, level etc,, maybe you can find some better images..

lmfao were u doing that same time i was or what.. I got rid of the big splash seemed so close in ur face lol..
Yours is a better job btw less fixing on urs it seems or rather i cant see the fixes so much I left a little splash from the main one at the top, so to make it look like the rock there in the foreground had a wave hit it not long ago and was just dying down.. lol thats my excuse anyhow

Im guessing you masked urs and slowly blended it in? I just rammed them together and used the old tricks of the trade with patching etc lol.. dirty but effective..

I took the second image, placed it at the right position, cropped any unnecessary part and the first thing I did was to mask the layer in front. After that I painted everything black on the big splash, that directly touched the layer behind it, with a brush I modified.
Then I took the wave behind the big splash, sized it down and placed it at the other side, so that it looks like as if the wave is not only on the left and I added some white water drops with the brush + a splash against the rock by dublicating the wave layer, rotating it by 90° and using a motionblur filter.
Well thats all I did

Tried to do it your way by dublicating things and thus removing the wave..
But I'm not satisfied :/
