Hello guys, ive got a hp dv9000 laptop here, its a customers, they havnt any recovery disks, and the recovery partition doesnt work, as they done a fixmbr on it, and now it wont boot from hard drive, or show in reovery manager. i know u got to pay for recovery disks from HP, but fuck that, any1 have any idea where else u can download them from?

you mean the disk with drivers and hp software stuff? iirc, you can get that stuff simply from the hp website or call their support line. a freind of mine did that a while ago when his DV8000 crashed, didn't have to pay anything.
