Hi!
Currently i'm using this mouse
but a few weeks before, I had to replace the switch under left button (i took identical one from an old A4tech) and it works...
None the less i think it's time to buy new mouse, but:
1. NO wireless
2. Optical
3. Rather M$/Logitech than A4Tech, Benq, Labtec & other like that...
4. Not very expensive
I was thinking about one of those:
- Logitech MX310 Optical
- Logitech Click! Optical
- Microsoft IntelliMouse Explorer 4.0
MX310 - I heard that a lot of people killed it's left button in a shot time
MS IME4 - quite large and you move it with whole your hand, my Dexxa is rather small and I move it with fingers (i have gel mause pad).
Click! - look quite interesting, it's small, optical and from Logitech...
Any recomendations/suggestions?

i always have had a good time with logitech mouses .
so i would choose 1 of those 2 mouses.
the mx-series of logitech seems quite good for gaming. ex. the mx500 and/or higher.

mx510 or the wireless mx1000 ( kicks non-wireless mouse ass )
I use them both, Ive also used up 2 mx500 and a MS4.0, and from all of them i have to say that mx1000 is the most comfortable one and if your not playing CS then you will be just fine with it, because in CS my mouse moves slightly down left when I'm suppose to move it straight to the right, but that only occurs in CS, other than that its perfect!
But if your looking for a cheap mouse just get a MS3.0 or some other bulk logitech mx300 (not mx310 they suck IMO)

Can I ask you why you refuse to buy a optical mouse. Mouseball mice are pretty stoneage at this time and the wireless latency has been improved for cordless mice. If you still don't like optical why not going with lacer mice like the MX1000?

I think you you mean wireless (i want optical mouse, but no wireless).
Edit:
You mean optical (IrDA) as a type of wireless connection?
I use "optical" to name mouse without ball
Anyway - I want mouse with cord (and without a ball )
Batteries - i don't use mouse far away from computer, a mouse cord doesn't trouble me at all, so why get into all that stuff?
Wireless mouse is heavier and you have to change/recharge batteries - absolutely no point in it for _me_ (i don't claim that wireless mouse is bad, i just don't need that)
Thay are also more expensive, and the price is important for me.
MX310 costs in my country about 160PLN (about 43$), thats why if I decide to buy MX310 I will buy only OEM version of it (about 27$)

If I only had cash I will buy MX1000 stright away...
~20-25$ max (it will be (including all taxes and stuff) about 30$ in my country)

I would vote for M$ Intelimouse Explorer. Ive had one for over 3 years and i would say that it works perfect if not for the fact that the four 'slip pads' are really worned out after miles of use. The only thing is the some of the new Explorer mice have very different designs than mine. Some of which I cant really get used to. I also got a wireless version which is great for browsing etc. but not for FPS gaming, it seems to lag sometimes. But i guess some of the newer wireless mice have that solved with updated 2.4ghz technology.

I own an MX700, and MX 500 and an MX1000. They all fucking kick ass. The MX1000 is the best mouse ive ever used, and the MX700 is better than the 500, though it is wireless.

Sorry man, must have been smoking crack hehe. It should be wireless and not optical... Anyway using an Intellimouse explorer 4.0 now and it's pretty good apart from some issues. As our local magazines have putten up good words about the lazer mouse MX1000 I would recommend it. Using that one together with an illuminous keyboard would be a killer.
