Hmm the game always locks up in Mission 2 when storming the Bunker in Stalingrad!
It just stops and makes an annoying loud noise till I shut down the xbox (had that on Driv3r too but only once)
On COD I had that 3 times now and I couldnt finish the mission yet because of that
Is this:
a) A game Specific Bug?
b) because I play the game from HDD and it has some kinda protection or incompatibility?
c) because I bought a new HDD and its overheating (7200rpm maxtor)

Only played two games with this new hdd so far, Flatout and COD and Flatout worked fine all along so I dont think its c) that causes the crashes!

Maybe this is a known bug?

have you tried changing modes, EA(who I think released Call of duty) is notorious about not liking if the game isn't run in the apropriate mode(PAL/NTSC). alltough it usually means the game doesn't even wants to boot.

About 9 hours, HDD Temperature 39°C, GPU Temperature 37°C, CPU Temperature 55°C at that time. Not very hot imo

Checked some official boards..looks like a bunch of ppl who actually bought the game got that problem too. And all in either the first or second Stalingrad stage.... So its a programming bug!
I'm in Aachen now and didnt have another lockup yet.
