So, it's time to upgrade again, and I would be glad if you could give me some advice.
First of all, I only want to upgrade my GPU and (quite possibly) PSU.
I currently have GF 8800 GTS 640 MB, E8400 and 3 gig RAM.
I'm not interested in overclocking.
Is this card any good?

Also, I currently have 450W noname PSU, holds pretty good but for this card I think I should upgrade. Unfortunately I have no idea about PSUs, so if you could recommend me one it would be great.

get your card from germany , tad cheaper , also get a ATI 4890, vapor x editions go for like 170 euros.
PSU wise go for a corsair , 650w will be more then enough

evga geforce GTX 260 core 216
psu's stick with pc power & cooling. Only company that'll rate their PSU's after being heated up so you get true wattage ratings and not some bullshit 800watts when the fuckin thing is turned off.
I've got a 510 turbo cool I've been using since the 754 socket build I had, now using an x2 4400 and 8800GT and it's still rock solid.
5 year warranty etc. |
