|
 |
I have played alot of Guitar hero 3 - the strum bar is quite "clicky" and I don't find it a challenge to get the beats on time.
HOWEVER, I find it nearly impossible to get any of the guitar beats on time. I always seem to miss them. I cannot work it out - as I say, I'm pretty good with GH3 - I usually play medium with ease.
So whats the deal? Is there something in the timings I'm missing? Or maybe some audio delay in my system? If the latter, i've not experienced it with any other games :/
Someone help! Is rockband 1 just a bit shitty? Should I try Rock band 2?
Thanks!

didn't have any problems when switching back and forth from RB1/2/GH series
have you tried tweaking the timing for TV lag? even if your tv is not to blame, maybe you're just hitting the notes a few milliseconds to soon/late

do you find the rock band guitar strum doesn't click? its smooth? is that normal?
it's really wierd. It seems like its 100x more sensitive that gh...!! it's not just about audio lag is it, i mean, i'm looking at the notes and timings also... :/ really weird

well i've had my hands on quite a few different RB/GHWT guitars and i have to say the strum bar quality and "clickyness" varies quite a bit due to their shitty production standards.
prime suspect imo: the amount you have to move the strum bar up or down so it registers it as a strum is simply a bit different from your old GH3 guitar

i own the GH3 les paul, RB strat and the GH4 guitar, and find the RB one the best the GH3 les paul is horrendous and allways becomes less responsive.
Lets hope the Beatles RB gear will be just as good

And your RB Strat doesn't "click" like the GH controllers? As in, it makes no sound when you strum it?
