OK, the file is downloaded and it's a bunch of .rar files. Inside, there are a number of things, including .nfo's .sfv's and more .rar files. In addition, there are .r00, .r01, .r02, etc files and an .exe that requires a password to open up. I suppose I'm just stupid. What am I supposed to do to install and play the game? *Note: I am buying HL2 on the 30th when I get paid but downloaded to try it out before then. All help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I will buy it, I really will. I'm not lying. But right NOW, I want this to work. I found out the password to open the .rar's, but that still doesn't tell me what to do.

u should just unpack the rar files (r00 aso) then mount the ISO with daemon tools... then use winrar to unpack the ISO also.... then simply run the launcher...

We can't help you with a password as that is considered as a request on this board like a serial. About the unpacking, you should unrar it with an app like Powerarchiver (superb) or Winrar from the .rar file.

never heard of such a thing... i only use private networks on dc or Torrents...

there should be files with the ending nfo...open those in the text editor. they should tell you how to proceed. jesus christ was a gangsta rapper. they killed him. he came back and made a platinum album.
