I'd always return back to the original firmware before updating to another firmware.
IMO, just makes things a little safer and a little less confusing should anything go wrong
Never used Dosflash but I know jungleflasher will force you to return to the original. JF is pretty simple to use as well, presuming windows doesn't throw a fit.

I must admit, I don't like jungleflash (due to it being qwirky) but for some reason, my PC hates any other method. Dosflash just won't work. I presume its a hardware issue somewhere. JF has a habit of hanging my PC but in the end always works.

bored too at work
oh ok thats the exact same reason why I dont want to use jungleflasher
Was there any reason why you only wanted to go to 1.51? 1.60 is out and offers more features, whilst also adding tighter security in the hopes of preventing XBL bans due to bad backups.
We flashed 2 xbox with my friend, and we had strange issues with the 1.6 repack firmware (burned dvd game note being detected but ok with abgx360) it was working with 1.5.1 so I stayed with this one
