There was this mod I used to play in a friend's house more than 10 years ago. It was basically a Doom parody of sorts, where everything was cartoons. One of the weapons (the bazooka) was a chicken shooting bombs out of its ass... Laughing Well, I want to play this again, but I can't find any info on this...

the aliens TC was fucking epic back then aswell
you guys ever play strife?
an rpg based on the doom engine - an early precursor to deus ex i would say
had a nonlinear story and everything, but wasn't stats based
there were scenes in it with two armies fighting eachother and your previous actions dictated which side you were on in it
finished it like five times, and it is quite long

Played strife and liked it, although calling it an rpg would be a bit too much...maybe an fps with rpg elements...

The depth of field looks good but it would suck if it would be like that ingame...

Is that adjusted according to what is under the cursor, or is it static for certain distances? Could be cool to have, if it is dynamic (and fast enough, of course). Smile

BTW, thanks for reminding me of this thread, laughed hard at the "egg bombs out of the chicken's ass" rocket launcher. Laughing
