Multi-displays are bleh. Those screen edges don't just disappear you know. I would like to see that 7680 x 3200 resolution on a 40/50 inch display. But the reason that AMD didn't show it themselves is probably because it didn't look as great as it sounds on a single monitor.

Yeah, surround display is pretty much useless. Does anyone remember the Matrox Parhelia ? Lol.
Gfx is all about gaming performance fellas, that's where the market is !

most games i play on one monitor
for most games it is unnecessary
but i can't imagine playing dirt or il2 or flying arma helicopters without my triple monitor setup
3x the view IS important for gameplay like that
unless nvidia follows this, it'll probably be the deciding factor for my next card
much like nvidia was with better drivers and better multi-display support for my current one

Eh, as "borderless" as they are, you'll still see the borders, so still shit.

And to think a lot of people here moan about the small black bars in some games.

Well, the two are unrelated in my opinion. "Black bars" on top and bottom can hardly be compared to having BLACK BARS ( ) running in the middle of your picture. Even with these "borderless", you still see the edge, and to me that's distracting.

I think I've proved, time and time again, that those "small" black bars aren't as small as the WS fagjobs point out >_> 16:9 games on a 16:10 monitor? Fine, perfectly acceptable - minuscule - borders. 16:9/16:10 games on a 4:3/5:3 monitor? Fucking HORRIFIC and end up causing 35-45% of the screen to become black void.
Meh.
I'm still with Leo on this; until there are physically NO boundaries, borders, cuts, lines or any seams in any way - then spanned-monitor gaming will always be ridiculous.
