Hey ppl, im having a little probom here im using Windows 7 Ultimate Edition 64bits but i cant figure out how to make my card (PCTV Pro) wok on this OS, any ideas what can make this work?

It's Pinnacle, right? Because my sis has that USB card, and that thing is shit under any OS (don't ever consider WMC). I say ditch it and buy Hauppauge, you can even try WinFast from Leadtek, I have old one but it works like a charm...

what does "pro" include that others dont, im sure they mostly use the same driver set to get their device to work but each with it's own software.

i also have PCTV Pro and it only works in xp and w7 32bit, no drivers from that website support it
doesn't work in vista at all

Your problem is getting suitable WDM video/audio capture drivers because Pinnacle doesn't support even XP SP2. Check in you hardware config screen to see if there are any devices that show up as problems. See if you can find some open drivers on the net. Find out the chipset of your card because a lot of low-end tv cards use the same Connexant chipset. Plus you have to get a software that works with those drivers. I use KTv (also called Kastor TV) because the Pinnacle shit doesn't work with those new drivers. I don't know if it will work with W7.
