When i'm using WIN7 in constantly getting a BfuckingSOD when exitting a game, the bsod error is a cdd.dll, i searched on google some said it might be because of the RAM memory, its not because of that i ran MEMTEST no errors were found .
Can someone please tell me what can be causing this ? I never had such problems and its pretty frustrating .

Try this first see if it happens again, "disable desktop composition" under properties compatibility
cdd.dll is part of windows cannonical display driver.

When did this start to happen.
Maybe it's a gfx driver problem. Use driver cleaner (or is it sweeper?) and then reinstall some good whql drivers.

i posted in the wrong section i guess so i i'm gonna give it a try here
the game crashes , after 30 seconds or so after the first mission starts , the game crashes with a "stopped working" error , the crash is more or less random cause it also happens sometimes when in the main menu or any menu .
i read that other people have this problem aswell , any ideas ?

Hi all,
I have the same problem in Vista 64 home premium.
The game crashes after a few minutes with a 'stopped working' error.
Usually during the game, but it can also happen in the menus.
How to solve it?~

Ok i played about with this for a good good while trying all sorts of settings compitibility mode ect, none worked.
I restarted and ran memtest to find one of my mem sticks was f*cked so problem one found and eliminated...... but after a restart game still crashes and or bsod at random
So i took a look at my Asus motherboard Bios, Note* "i have it overclocked Manualy" here i changed it to asus default overclock turbo mode on and overclock by 20%.
after the restart played several games of OF:DR which didnt crash or bsod me and is still going strong now! So my theory on my end is that it dosent like overclocked computers.
Or even better Older system that is overclocked like a asus p4c800 deluxe, 4 gig ram, p4 3ghz, windows 7 rtm untouched
Even though the sytem is older, suprisingly it runs windows 7 with a rating of 4.5 for those of you who have tried that option to test you system in my computer properties. And OF:DR runs on high quality without stickingness which says alot about the game considering its very eyepleasing graphics, in my apinion anyways. hope this all helps.
