double want. i've been waiting forever for a movie that would do justice to bruce.
he seems just as bad ass as in his younger days and i'm hoping he's gonna kick some serious ass, while delivering action-hero-like cool-liners. yes, that's actually a real word (in my book of coolitude)

there's lame cliches and there's great cliches.
if you think back a bit, most of the best 80s-90s movies were chock full of cliches.
with a good script, good acting, and good whatever-else-is-important-to-you, this could be a fun willis flick, no matter how cliche it will be

Disney PG-13 ...bleh..the comics provided a much grittier look
I still want to watch this, but I'm not too impressed by the crew behind it.
edit: Scratch that, not impressed is too soft. Between the director and the writers they have made T3, Catwoman, Primeval and U-571.
However they did write The Game which I liked a lot and The Net which at its time wasn't bad. It just hasn't aged well.
Can't say I have too high hopes for this

This film sounds like The Island with Ewan McGregor and Scarlett Johansson to me...

Which was fucking shit.
I dont know about this movie. Have watched trailers and such now, read some plot bits. It seems like it steals a lot of ideas from The Matrix ; but I dnno.
Terminator 3 was complete balls, so not expecting much from the same director, but we shall see.

oh cmon man.. did we watch the same movie? It sucked..\
Not one new idea in it. A rehash and sampling of at least a dozen other movies. From small stolen ideas..Blade Runner: (false memories implanted in a replicate), to huge stolen ideas: to The Clonus Experiment (clones grown for replacement body parts, who learn the truth and escape to expose the real truth), to The Matrix: huge caverns of growing bodies, Not to mention Logan's Run..etc etc etc..
Everything in that movie was balls, it was slow, boring and UNBELIEVABLE. This clone base's illegal behavior wasnt noticed in seven years? Congress passed legislation and specific laws yet no one ever enforces these laws? Did we need the obligatory car crashes on the freeway scene? Can you say Matrix or Bad Boys 2? You would think that the truck driver would've noticed that he was losing most of his load after the first dozen giant metal dumbbells fell off his truck but no, he kept on driving. Also, when Scarlet is arrested, They've been firing bullets at her all day long and trying to kill her on site yet, they arrest her and don't even check to see if she's armed? Next, she's being prepped for surgery yet no one notices the gun? Stupid piece of shit movie, awful, terrible, bad, abysmal.

^ The Island was a poor movie indeed. The whole plot was so simplistic it would've fit better on some crappy sci-fi show as a 1 hour episode.

A Michael Bay movie with poor story? Really? That can't be true!

Well yeah, can't really expect miracles from him but no doubt there's countless original or spec scripts out there, and yet a crappy story like that gets a good budget and good actors. Pfeh.
Edit: and omfg: Johansson reportedly wanted to go topless instead of wearing a bra in a scene where she wakes up. Director Michael Bay decided against it to keep a PG-13 rating.
FUCK YOU MICHAEL BAY!
