I did a few days ago, just to see how far I can get with it before I probably replace it with a 5850/5870.
I've got an XFX card, which funnily enough, runs at 720/1100/1800 by default. That's higher than normal GTX speeds, but slightly lower than GTX+ speeds?
Anyway, I ran 3DMark Vantage on default speeds first (performance presets), to see its temperatures. Topped out at 53, with fan speed forced to 100%. Then I set it to 800/1200/2000 and ran Vantage again; topped out at 53 just the same? I'm wondering how far I can push it now.
Gained 3 FPS on both graphics tests, about 20 Op/S on the CPU tests, fill rates went up a bit and the remaining feature tests all gained the same 3 FPS. In score, it went from 7102 to 8261 3DMarks.
This is all on the default cooler, and I've got a feeling this thing is nowhere near its limit yet. Gonna put it on the high preset and run both benches again and have a look at temperatures then. Can't run extreme unfortunately, since my monitor is 1080p and thus does not support 1920x1200
Doing this on an E8400/4GB PC2-6400/Win7 Pro x64 with the latest WHQL driver.
