I have just finished listening to her debut album for the sixth time. It isn't that I have enjoyed it that much, I just really enjoy her guitar tone and the way she has seemingly mastered her instruments (voice and guitar).

With heroes like Steve Vai and Carlos Santana, I didn't expect such a pop-filled creampuff of an album. Albeit, her riff-mastery rivals other great guitarists such as John Petrucci and Steve Lukather. When she isn't singing about emotion and love and junk, she has a fantastic musical presence. On the tenth track, "Highly Strung," an instrumental, she really lets her skills show. From the darkest of melodies to the brightest of riffs, she is Australia's answer to melodic metal.

<sarcasm>If only she was attractive.</sarcasm>

Even though I don't really like the, "Girl Power-Pop," that most female musicians sing these days(since that is was the music industry thinks that they should/can sing), this chick can shred! If you are looking for a good balance of pop/metal/emotive singing/attractive guitar prodigy wunderkind/Australian, then look no further! But if you are looking for a new metal guitar album, stay as far away from this as is humanly/robotically possible.

In closing, I must thank the late weirdo Michael Jackson for allowing the world to find out about this up-and-coming musician. Thank you Jacko!
