Push the extra speed button (shift) and run into the elevator right when the doors start to open! She shuld join you. It worked for me.
Some say that saving in the elevator and then reload that save makes the girl walk into the elevator, but i haven't tried that.
yeah, i get the same problem. and i just tried to do what you said would work,
but none of em worked for me.i made i "real" save and reloaded it, i made a quick save,
i ran just when the doors opened, i ran a sec after they opened.. none of it worked.
you sure there ain't no other way to fix this problem?
The same happened for me, each time a girl wanted me to ride the elevator, i quicksaved just 5 seconds before she pushed the button and tried a couple of times and then she walked in, just keep trying at different angles and times, then you will get her into it.
Just wanted to confirm that the first suggestion worked for me when i got stuck here. As soon as the doors open sprint into the elevator, and she should follow. Hope this helps.
in the right of the room- ther is an opened windows, just jump out of it...
you will die and a black screen will appear. just do "enter" and the game will load and the girl will move.
but remember to save the game after the girl opens the elevator.
I believe that this 'error' occurs if the node graph was not rebuilt because you are probably using "ai_norebuildgraph 1". Typing this into the console or adding it to autoexec.cfg to have it installed permanently will solve that "Graph Node out of Date" problem but will also 'hang' the game in a few levels, one of those is your Black Mesa East Mossman-elevator thing.
Try this:
1. save the game sometime before Mossman calls the elevator
2. open the console and type "ai_norebuildgraph 0"
3. load the previously saved game and wait till Mossman enters the elevator
4. after that open the console again and type "ai_norebuildgraph 1" to prevent those "Graph Node out of Date" messages appearing in the levels ahead.
You might need to repeat this in case you come across a similar situation later in the game.
Or just:
1. open console and type "ai_norebuildgraph 0" to allow the node graph to be rebuilt
2. load the Black Mesa East map (type: map d1_eli_01.bsp)
3. type "ai_norebuildgraph 1" again if you want to prevent Node Graph errors but note you might get a limilar problem later in the game
You could also manually load all maps manually before you play the game so that all map node graphs would get rebuilt. Then you would have no errors again and have ai_norebuildgraph set to 0. Get a list of maps with "maps *" and load them one by one with "map <mapfilename>
