Im looking for a good program that will back up protected DVD movies. I dont need to compress them or convert them, just make a 1:1 copy. I just tried DVD X Copy that I always see ads for, but when the burning process is supposed to start it hangs and crashes. Any recomendations?

tnx for replies.
I will be trying DVD Decrypter, I hear only good things about it.

How about DVD Shrink? or DeepBurner? or CDBurner XP Pro? or Zilla CD-DVD Rip N' Burn? Did anyone try any of above?

dvd shrink is good for compressing dvds... but i assume it would work with a straight copy also... i just find decrypter to be much easier for that. hope everything works out well

the people who made dvd decryptor are asses, while they did bring dvd copying to the mainstream, they also charged money for alternative products that work worse than free versions. so corny. go to doom9.org for any copying stuff you want to know.
