Considering every self-respecting PC gamer has a joypad or joystick these days, I'm surprised MORE companies aren't releasing fighting games for the PC. It's not like the old days where controllers were rare.

True... i think with SFIV and this one we´ll do for a few years I´m a huge kof fan and I was hoping for KOF XII to be release, but I played it on a 360 and it´s utter crap.

didn't confirmed for PC yet,or did it?

probably they will announce it after the release of the console version.

ho,and fighting games are not popular like they used to be,
now console gaming is more about shooters and action games.

Not exactly but.. sort of

Svensson pushing for more PC releases from Capcom

Potentially good news for fans of Super Street Fighter 4 hoping for a PC port — Capcom V.P. Christian Svensson stated he is pushing for more PC releases via the Unity Forums.

He also briefly chimed in on who he thought could hold their own as a lead in a Street Fighter film.

Will Modern Warfare 2 selling well despite how crap of a PC port it is, somehow influence Capcom and others to slack off/disregard PC gaming/raise prices? — McJon

Sven: Frankly, I'm trying to push our company to "PCize" more, not less. Slow and steady progress will be made.

I couldn't be happier reading those words Sven.

Sven: Just to set expectations, I'm not always going to be successful in my endeavors, but the effort is being made nonetheless.

BTW there is also PSP version of BlazBlue that coming soon

http://worthplaying.com/article/2009/11/6/news/70014/

I'm loving this multi platform focused generation,
now most of the 3 party company's want their games
on as more platform as possible,
exclusivity is a dying trend now days,
emulation proved that nothing really staying exclusive forever.

Maybe.. but not for me. I had just about enough of all the 2d fighters having little japanese schoolgirls with enormous eyes, thin emos with spiky colorful hair, fat blobs and fragile old men - all of them making the same emo japanese squeaky sound with each move. Did i mention that since Mortal Kombat 4 there was no single 3 dimensional game... Sad

Why can't there be a Soul Calibur or Mortal Kombat for PC.. hell even Tekken (tho it has many of the things i hate..)

The worst thing about Japanese frighters is they like to shout out the names of every move they do. Maybe for Japanese that do like 100 combos a second this helps, but for me it's awful. Cannon strike!

MK for PC! (But not the crappy DC one, the old ones. Bring back MK Armageddon to PC and we shall all rejoice!)

Hold on, let me get this right... So you are saying anime style in games is cliched and bad, but you don't mind that every second game developed in western countries is about elves, dwarfs and all that carp?

Yes, which stand in such a negative light compared to the deep, complex 3D American fighting games like...Mortal Kombat. Rolling Eyes

Seriously so much people acting like i'm the king of the game industry and if i say something it becomes a law- i'm flattered Laughing

Yes i'm saying anime style in fighting games is bad for "moi", i like more realistic, dark themed approach to a fighting game - with blood, gore and cloths ripping apart. With more realistic looking characters with physics and looks believable enough to actually allow them to do their moves (It's kinda offtopic talking about a fantasy genre and elves here..Laughing)

About the 2d-3d part - So you may prefer to be able to move in the simple backward- forward direction - this makes dodging a move so boring like just jumping over or blocking it.. and that's all you can do.

Fighting in full 3 dimension let you sidestep. It also gives the ability to interact with the stage itself.. break a part of it, use a scenery (weapons, instakills, ring outs).. It adds for the total game immersion & experience.

Cursed Mountain for Wii was pretty mediocre.I'm not talking about gfx, gameplay was kinda repetitive.A 6.5-7/10 game for me but can't see a way how to improve it on pc(except gfx).
