Well in my case Men of Valor wasnt working on my blank CD's so i extract all 4 cd's, create 3 folders with the proper label (DISC2, 3, 4), open NERO, put the content of cd 1 in there (not in a folder) and add the 3 folders there aswell.
So when i launch the dvd it start the installation as usual and when it prompt for the file on cd2 i browse the DVD to the DISC2 folder and it continue the installation. he found DISC3 and 4 by himself without prompting me for them and the game works fine now.
So you can give it a try but leave the first CD out of a folder...oh and be sure to have a NOCD cause you might get screwed on that one.

In case of MoV extract everything in one folder & install from there so u won't need to change any cd's,u can also make dvd image with ultraiso cause winiso can't create more than 2gb dvd it gives an error

Well, being one that always converts 4 CDs+ games on DVD, I can tell you that if the InstallShield wizard just looks for the cab files, you can put them all in one single folder and burn the DVD.
But, if the installation wizard looks for the CD label (e.g. DISK1, DISK2, etc...) it can't find the next CDs when installing, so, in this case, you have to modify the MSI script inside the first CD (that's what I did with True Crime and Leisure Suit Larry - Magna cum Laude).
After changing the script, everything goes just fine.
Tested on my computer.

If it is a bought game it would probably not work well, since the copyprotection would be destroyed when you copied the contents to a DVD.

I don't think so.
The copy protection just affects the execution of the program, not the installation. Every protected game (even Starforce) always performs the whole installation process, even though it can't be launched eventually.
Nevertheless, there could be some problems, so it's convenient to include a NO-CD patch on your homemade DVD.

Burn the 3 iso's or bins as files on the DVD, and then mount them with daemon tools.
