The review of IGN is one of the worst reviews i've read for a long time.If they are bored why they even bother to review a game?Where are the RPG elements? They say nothing.Various Items, spells, shops to buy items as in Puzzle Quest?

Ya,wanted to hear something about the story or the rpg side of the game, but all I got from the review is "The story is a bit hard to follow and it's told with still talking heads, so that's not Gyromancer's strong point."

Wow...gee,thanks. Rolling Eyes

And still nothing on steam...

i doubt that the story or the rpg elements are somehting to write home about, it's simply bejeweled with a bit of pokemon/dungeon crawling tacked on

It's a metis Bejeweled Twist and Puzzle Quest. From what I've seen in the screenshots.

The demo is available btw.

When I first read the first half of the name, "Gyro.." I went "woohoo, a modern take on Gyroscope & Spindizzy".. Instead it's the same old boring bejeweled nonsense in a new package for the hundredth time. Sad

Oh god, tried it and decided to go back to PQ on my psp...
Rpg elements?Erm..No.
"Beasts" with EXACTLY the same "abilities"?
Hell yeah...
Decent artwork, though...
Btw, it crashes on vista, have to use the compatibility flag.
And it's 640x480 only..Neutral

That's why IGN didn't mention anything about rpg elements. If this is a 8.3/10 then puzzle quest is a 10.3/10.

Well, this is getting some good review scores so far. But I found it clunky and dull - worse than Galactrix. I've played maybe 8 or 9 games of this type, and usually find them addictive. Pity!

Epsilon: Game is great btw, I love it, so far it's a definite goty. It's remarkable how much has changed since the beta, stardock have been working their asses off, and it shows.

I thought it was better then Galactrix. I do admit it did feel fairly repetitive by the 3rd map, which is as far as I have gotten so far. (time constraints)

Man, this game is epic so far! Definitely repetitive, especially if you're going for Clean Sweeps on maps .. but so much fun!

Anyone knows a flash game similar to puzzle quest? I like those kind of games, but hardly have any time to play them, would be nice to play them while at lectures Smile
