I've downloaded the first release from Emporio and have been playing the singleplayer game for 2 straight days now and......wow...the old hl feeling and sounds are still there , making me kind of nostalgic of the good old days hehe.
Now my question is that i see that the cstrike directory is present and i want to play de_dust with bots, but each time i start up hl2 with the launcher i am only able to chose hl2 singleplayer game, how do i start up counterstrike and what commands do i use for adding bots to the game?
Apparently there should have been made some real nice changes to the CS game and i want to experience them, with bots though.
just copy all your HL2 dir to a CSS one (to avoid fucking up your HL2 installation), then apply EMPORiO CSS Updates Patch 5, configure SteamApp.cfg with your Steam login/password and then launch CSS with hl2.exe -steam -game cstrike.
create a shortcut to hl2.exe
right click on it
go to properties
in the target line have it say "C:\PATH\TO\YOUR\HL2DIR\hl2.exe" -steam -game cstrike
rename the shortcut to cstrike and play.
Hehe thanks both of you, i WAS actually looking for a way to play with bots, i remember them being incorporated into CS:CZ, and i had hoped they would be in this release also, how do i get bots? and if they ARE implemented how do i get it to work properly?
