Hi,

Had no problems wht the game but just before the Goulag mission I got this crash during the loading time. When I restarted the game all my progression and save games were gone. I checked my save games folder, and all my save game were still present, but the game refused to load one of theese.

So I restarted the story from the beginning, but now I have two problems:
- I am unable to play more than a few minutes, the game say that I have insufficient free disk space and I should free at least 5mb. I have 250gb free on my HDD.
- The game is unable to restart from my save game points. I have to start everytime form the beginning of the curent level and not my last save game point.

I found 2 people on the net pretending to have a solution:
- according to one person the autosave dir was to big for some people, I had 130mb autosaves; I erased all the autosavecs. But it did not help.
- an other person pretended that sometimes Win 7 turns read only attribute on and the "insufficient free disk" comes from that fact. I removed the read only attribute but it did not change a thing.

Does anyone have an idea or better: a solution?

Thank you and happy new year.

Maybe try turning off UAC.

What it really almost sounds like is the game is trying to write to a recovery partition that's full.

Hi,

Thank you for the answer.

I have already tried to run the game as an admin, same crash.

The game worked fine for a few weeks. I started having this error message only after the crash, when I lost all my saved games. The strange thing was that when I looked into the save game dir., all the save game files (even in the auto save dir) were still there but I was unable to load or continue anything.

So if anyone has any other ideas.
