i cant even get conkers to work so didnt bother trying this one..burnt on dvd and cd..my xbox cant seem to read demos.

well, i'm a bit disappointed. maybe the full version will be better.
steering is good, grafix are nothing special.
hm.. dunno what to think about it.
dont know, why this game should be better than race driver 2.
hope for a good carrer mode and alot of good tracks.

I have now tried it, and I must agree with you.
I think the graphic sucks for a Xbox game, it looks almost like a PS2 game!
PGR2 is way better on the graphic front, and I hate when ai cars try to run right over you...
But it´s only a demo, so we will see.
I also misses the hood camera view, its much nicer to actually see that you drive different cars,
if u doesnt use the behind camera view of course.
Big let down so far, but it is.. what? 2 months before it hit the stores.

You can complain as much as you want, i´m looking forward to this BIG time...
I can agree to some extent that the graphics in the demo could be better, but the screens i´ve seen in other scenarios looks much better. But then again, im not interested in the graphics the most, it´s the gameplay...
I mean this games got what Gt4 has, and more! Aerodynamic modification (aka Styling), real-life tuning brands, 60 manufacturers (yeah GT4 got many too) very impressive tuning, (ENGINE SWAPS!) and very nice damage and so on...

no matter how bad this demo might be i will still buy Forza Motorsports if it keeps half the hype it got...

Did you play the same demo as I did?
Because I could not tune the engine and the damage was complete crap!
So how do you know that the tuning and so on will be awesome??
And to say that this game have more to offer than GT4 it´s just silly.
GT4 have over 500 car models, who are available to race with, each with handling physics that match their real world counterparts.
And the demo I tried on GT4 for over 6 months ago was way prettier than Forza demo.
But I agree with you that the gameplay is really good.
But I mean look at PGR2, thats a game that is one year old and still pisses on Forza.
But we will see when it comes out if its worth the cash.

What Forza has that I am very insterested in that GT4 Demo did not have is the the fact that you cant HIT the gas pedal on such powerfull cars and have stability or down shift from gear 5 to 1 and nothing really happends. GT4 Demo (newest one), GT4 BMW demo, cars dont have this handling

No, of course you can´t it´s a demo  . But I have read almost all info there is about the game, and what i know, you can change like ignition timing, turbo boost, and loads more, including engine swaps. Crappy damage? i think the damage textures and so on look really nice, cause this game will have a couple of hundred cars too, AND since many of are stylable, that means they have to make damagemodels for each and every car + all the bodykits available for them! Thats like 500 damagemodels! And other nice details, like crash or scrape you car to a barrier and the cars paint wears of on the barrier! Yeah, GT4 has more cars, I absolutely agree. And this game got awesome physics too! And this game looks nice, maybe not as nice as GT4, but well enough to make me happy....it´still the gameplay that counts...

Have you tried it without patching aswell? Some games do not need patching with the enigmah chip like Halo 2 which doesn't boot after patching. Also use a good patcher like dexbe.

Have you tried it without patching aswell? Some games do not need patching with the enigmah chip like Halo 2 which doesn't boot after patching. Also use a good patcher like dexbe. |

Lets hold off on judging the game til final comes out..this is just a demo and the track they choose really beats me..its one of the more " simple & bare" tracks of the game. It dont really show off real time lighting,trackside detail,etc...also remember this is just a test drive.it dont even show you the modifications,modes,etc thats in the game...chill out instead of setting judgement on the game.
Riddick all over again lol

All in all, this seems like a very good game. Graphics are pretty good. I think it will be a big hit. The only thing I find wrong with this game is that it gets a bit boring. From looking at all the screenshots / videos most of the tracks seem to be quite long and very simliar. The cars are good on it. I have to say, it will have to do very well to beat PGR2 but this is a game I will definitley be getting.

didn't like it either, thought the graphics was worse than some other titles like Burnout and PG, they was abit to grainy, handling also needs to be improved.
Thing i was impressed with was the sound of the engines, they was spot on and best i've heard in any car game.
Been playing this demo and ps2 GT4 demo, still prefer GT4 for some reason everything seems to play perfectly (except sounds) and there isn't that much difference graphically between them even, esp when GT$ is using 1080 mode
Its nice to see this type of game get onto xbox, maybe when it reachs its 4th release and when on xbox2 will it truely be no1 racing sim game, but at the moment unless they radically improve the demo when final game is released its just going to be another car game

I'm not a big fan of racing games,
but after playing the demo for a short while, it seems pretty nice - I think the g.engine rocks.
