That system is fucking awesome. I use my PS2 more than my 360.

In fact, because Harry has no weapons at his disposal to speak of -- this is a choice designed to heighten the sense of defenselessness and amplify fear; I've seen some reader complaints about this decision, but I love it -- he'll have to be quick on his feet to outsmart the mutilated enemies who pursue him.
|
I'll pass. SH was difficult at the best of times -- but now they're REMOVING weapons altogether? Thanks, but no thanks. I'll just stick to the originals.

if it means just running away all the time, i'm gonna pass too...but if they really add a strategic element and redesign the game so you can use the environment against the enemies, this could get interesting.

It's acutally a reimagination of the original, not a remake..so it's not the same game really. And if I can say it, a damn good game. They have implented the new "no fight system" pretty well too. It's not like they just removed it from the orginal game and left the enemies. Plus it makes the game even more intense, to know you're defenseless. The best part is that the game change according to your own psycological profile. It's not as good as Silent Hill 1 and 2, but I'd put it on the third place. Try it, you'd be surprised how good it is...even without being able to bash puppets in with a steelpipe

So this is an NTSC release right? I'm PAL... :/
If I want to play on WiiKey, can I?
I'm also soft modded, can I play via neogamma without patching the .iso image?
OR is not region locked?

Really good game played it through from start to end the moment i switched it on ^^
Runs without probs trough neogamma.
I dunno i wouldnt even say its a reimagination of the original since the story etc is so different... i mean whats left ? 3 or so npc names and the background that harry searches for cheryl.
Graphics are for wii top notch and the psycho profil + game monitoring is really cool implented.
