Hi there!
I have a bug with a game... Shaders of the water surfaces are gone! I mean, i have no any effect on it.. Its just a simple texture. But as far as I know, my gfx using dx8.0 , and pixel shader 1.1 ...
Any ideas how to fix it? Rolling Eyes

1. are your video drivers up to date? (www.nvidia.com)
2. Is DirectX version 9.0c? (www.directx.com)
3. Is your video card supported?

If all of these are "yes", call your carg mfr

I have the same card and problem.
But at first it was like you said. When I loaded the game again later, the water had 1.1 shaders. Its kinda wierd.
Check in the display option within the game that your card is recognized as a DX8 card.
Here's the post that I've opened regarding this: http://www.nfohump.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=5619

Yeah.. My card recognized as dx8.0 , but whatever? Water is just a texture! Crying or Very sad
I have the newest drivers and dx 9.0c installed. May be a patch or a new driver will solve it...

Something that worked sometimes with my Ti500 is installing an older version of the nvidia drivers. Try a few previous versions.
