Well, that is pure speculation. As with GoW, no plans have been made for porting it to the PC.
But what is for certain is, PC fanboys are missing out on a lot of great games nowadays
Well... this is exactly why I own both a kick ass PC and several console systems. Rather than a certain system fanboy, I am just a game fanboy. But I must say my PC holds a special place in my heart that a console will never touch.
Still... a good game is a good game.
Least we will get bioshock and gta out the way then

but you know what Chinese whispers are like; some newbie will read your comment and suddenly run and spread it all over the internet that the new 2010 Banwave disables all your XBLA games when you're banned.
"They demoed a certain scene, which we won't spoil for you here, that actually had you making life and death decisions based on your dialogue choice. You can play the game as a good character, a jackass, or anywhere in-between, based on which dialogue options you select. Again, similar to KOTOR, but much more refined."
Releasedate set for November 20th. I really hope that extra halfyear of development payed off and this game will be the spiritual succesor to KOTOR we all wish for
exorcise urself from this thread and never come back

Yeah, I disliked Kotor as well, but this looks a lot better.
Used to be Yondaime but forgot pass and what email I used on it. Doh. I had ~1200 posts or something, been around since NForce started or so, so i'm no new guy.
anyone read the book? I don't normally buy into gaming merch (beyond figurines and the like) but I was visiting family in Illinois and saw it at a bookstore there. With nothing better to do I bought it and read it. Wasn't bad, but I've been dieing for this game now because I want the rest of the story This is easily my most anticipated game for the year and I PRAY there's no more delays.
Games are getting closer and closer to the "choose your own adventure" style of books that I used to read when I was a kid.
If you never read one of those types of books, its like this...
You walk down a dark alley. There is jazz music lingering in the air as a skanky hooker puts her arm around you. Clearly hopped up on something she mistakes you for one of her "johns" and demands the money that you "owe" her. Youve barely even begun to decipher what the crack addled spoogebucket is saying when you see him. Her pimp. Her savior. He lunges out of the shadows brandishing his trusty stiletto as you reel back anticipating the blow.
Do you ?
A. Shove the working girl in front of him skewering her like a whore-kabob. (turn to page 4)
or
B. Attempt to wrestle the knife from the lunatic. (turn to page 7)
Feel free to finish the pages OK, OK, so they werent EXACTLY like that, but you get the picture.
Kotor is pretty much always in the top 10 on user-selected top 100 games of all times
Easily one of my favorite games at least
Yeah, the plot was excellent, the characters surprisingly deep and the choices profound.

Hahah. Definitely brings back some memories. Think there was some set in underwater places like Atlantis or someshit...and one where you go back in time with dinosaurs or some such. But yeah your example is much better than the actual books
And I love this aspect of Mass Effect, esp since there are more than just 2 choices it seems with each line. Makes the whole story and experience seem so much more interactive and interpersonal.
Another thing it reminds me of is the Wing Commander series, which was great.
Anyways this game is one of the big reasons I went back to the 360 after having one explode...If ms didn't have some real kickass games coming for their console, they would have many pissed off gamers who would never buy the system again.
anyway, it's bioware we're talking about here so I don't think there ever was the slightest reason to doubt the greatness of this game.
Can't wait to get my hands on this game, it's definitely gonna be one of the main reasons to own a 360
