So I was tinkering with my 360, to play WMVHD movies. I didn't want to connect the console to the home network and stream the files, since Microsoft would surely find a way to reward me with a ban.

In order to copy large files to flash storage, proper formatting is required. Standard FAT32 works well with the 360, but can't handle files larger than 4GB. Mac OS Extended formatting does, but it's incompatible with the 360.

So here's how to get it working. Open the disk utility, and select the flash disk. Select the Partition tab, and select 1 partition in the Volumes box. Then, select HFS+ in the Structure box. Finally, click on the Options button, and select the MBR setting.

Hit Apply, and you've got a USB stick that can handle huge files and is compatible with both a Mac and an Xbox.

Wish I'd knew that 3 days earlier...

What do you mean? You were streaming files via the home network, and got banned? Shocked

That's what methinks, yes.
Hoked up my x360 to the PC 4 days ago, yesterday found out i was baned. Now I DON'T know for sure if that's what got me banned. I have a router and that has my PC, x360 and ehternet in it. 2 days ago while I was tring to use Media Center to stream stuff from PC to x360, the x360 tried to connect to LIVE. I managed to unplug the cable while it was trying to sign in (about 2 sec). It did not sing in so I thought nothing happened as I didn't recieve any "Fucking A, whe finally got your ass!!!". And after a while I plugged the ethernet back in, as I was using my PC to browse some stuff. Give that it only tried to sign in when trying to connect to my PC MC, I stoped using that and i was fine.
But yesterday I played a Army of Two, and when I tried to install it, it didn't work. Can't play any installed game too.
So, guess i'm banned. HDD fix and fuck streaming via PC for me, even though the harms already been done... and I feel like a frackin' idiot.

Even though I doubt that why i'm banned, IF Microcock found a way to upload some pack, through Windows updates, and that would check if you have a x360 hocked up and, basically, ban yourself if that x360's moded/already flagged... I hate to say it, but that would be fucking brilliant!
